Omer Day 8: Hesed sh’be’Gevurah

Gevurah and Hesed are like a spool and thread.

For a center of power must ground every act of kindness that springs from it.

The sewing is how we dance with other and our self.
The needlecraft of our lives.

Sinai is a unitary material.
Woven and worn,
It still weaves and breathes anew.

No, we need not worry.
In fact, we can take comfort
In the One whose garment shelters all of Creation.
