Call for Submissions: Embracing the Stranger

Submit by July 31st for this special publication for the High Holidays

During Elul (the month of spiritual preparation before the High Holidays begin), the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association (RRA), Reconstructionist Rabbinical College/ Jewish Reconstructionist Communities (RRC/JRC) and Ritualwell will join together to showcase creative and inspiring High Holiday teachings, divrei torah, liturgy, rituals, music, poetry, and art.

Submissions should broadly respond or connect to the theme of “Embracing the Stranger”—the stranger we encounter inside as we grow in self-awareness, the strangers we meet in the world around us, and the intersection between the two.

Selected submissions will be shared across multiple Reconstructionist platforms (websites, email newsletters, and social media) during the month of Elul (August 22 – September 20, 2017). We’d love to include your voice!

Please forward this call widely and send your questions to ritualwell@rrc.edu.

Submissions can be made at the following link: https://reconstructionistevents.wufoo.com/forms/embracing-the-stranger-s…

We will consider submissions sent before July 31st, 2017.
