A Psalm of Infinity

When the outside is remote and uncertain
And the inside is steady and bleak
We can subsume ourselves in the tethering
Or look closer until we see the unseen.
We can study our contours.
Cast light upon shadows.
Make known all the silent holdings.
Release the yoke of this rope.
And with our soul’s sight
We can walk through the illusion of theological geometry
And climb into the ever-present infinity:
There is no fortress or breach
Only boundless, available space.
