We are living through troubling, uncertain times. So much loss, so much violence, so much injustice. The future of life on earth is in the balance. Looking ahead to October 2024, how will we celebrate Simchat Torah when last Simchat Torah was October 7? How will we maintain our equanimity as we prepare for election day in the US in the face of rising authoritarianism?
Rabbi Malkah Binah Klein invites us into spiritual and embodied practices for cultivating courage, resilience, and compassion. You will be guided in the crafting of personal and communal ritual, drawing from the deep well of Jewish and world wisdom traditions, to carry us through the month of October and beyond.
During this Immersion, we will co-create a supportive community for the journey of the first four weeks of the New Year 5785. Weekly gatherings will take place from a few days after Rosh Hashanah through the fall holidays, ending the Tuesday before election day.
All sessions will be recorded and sent to participants. We encourage live attendance for you to get the most out of the experience.
